Inktober Day 5: Design

While drawing Kaden yesterday, I got the urge to draw Ratchet’s mom… too bad no official design of her exists. Thus, I decided to do my own spin on how she might look. Since Ratchet takes more after his father, I took more liberty in her design. Ratchet therefore inherits the colour of her fur (in terms of physical attributes). Sketches are design ideas, colour drawing is a beta design. Tell me what you think!

More Headcanons!

Ratchet’s mom (I’m utter shit at naming, so no name) was a rocket engineer that helped design the latest fighters. She worked on the model that would later be known as “Aphelion”, which was actually named after her (Aphelion would have been her surname). Unfortunately, at the time of her death, only one model of Aphelion existed. In way, Ratchet always has a part of his family with him, as the ship was built by both her and Kaden.
